Our main goal is to educate and provide performing art opportunities in our rural community. We believe arts expression is essential to the human condition, and can provide positive outlets for children and adults, alike.
We have been lucky enough to be recognized in our community for all of our hard work. We were selected as Charity Partners for the Festival of Trees in 2014, where the community raised almost $25,000 for local non-profits. We were also the recipient of the Jackpot Grant from the Nevada Arts Council for our 2015 production of The Odd Couple. In 2015, we also received the Mayor's Art Award for the Best Artistic Company! In 2017, we won the Reader's Choice Award Bronze Level for Best Annual Event for Poe & Pints. This past year, in 2018, we were honored with the same award! We hope to keep a positive relationship going with our great community and state.
We feel it is important to give back when we can. Our members love participating in local events and fundraisers. Ghost Light Productions has raised money for The Polar Plunge, we have taught workshops to the Boys Scouts of America so they could earn their theatre badge, and we have held a benefit show for the American Cancer Society. We believe it's important to be involved in our great community here as much as we can.
Please contact us if you would like to get involved!
"I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be human." -Oscar Wilde
